HAECO organised Green Market with local organisations

Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company (HAECO) held a Green Market in November 2024 under the theme of “Green Hero Assemble”, in which four like-minded local organisations were invited to promote sustainable “hero skills”, ranging from recycling and waste reimagination, to organic farming, and biodiversity through interactive workshops and booth games.

Upcycling workshops were held to encourage colleagues to effectively upcycle old fabric into Christmas cards, while some even received a multi-purpose bag upcycled from old mechanics' overalls. Microgreens workshops encouraged colleagues to embark on the journey to farm-to-table which could benefit individuals through a healthier diet. Participants also deepened their knowledge on local produce throughout the event.

The two-day Green Market was a huge success in raising awareness and calling the HAECO family to action on sustainability topics. The event also demonstrated the company’s multifaceted approach to sustainability, and its commitment to contributing further to a more sustainable future.
