AAHK recognised for Resilience and Green Achievements

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) received the “Marathon Resilience Award – Leadership Award” and the “Sustainable Corporate (Environmental) – Leadership Award” at the 2024 Standard Chartered Corporate Achievement Awards presented by Standard Chartered, with Hong Kong Economic Journal as the co-ograniser.

The awards recognised AAHK’s high level of resilience and adaptability in facing aviation sector challenges during Covid-19 as demonstrated through a number of initiatives, including creative programmes to attract passengers, ongoing efforts to develop a smart airport and the use of innovative technologies to manage manpower challenges. AAHK was also acknowledged for its ongoing commitment to sustainable development, through key initiatives relating to carbon emission reduction and promotion of circular economy.
