AA releases Sustainability Report 2023/24

Airport Authority (AA) released its annual Sustainability Report 2023/24 in August 2024, highlighting sustainability performance and achievements over the past year. This year, AA introduced a strategic framework – Ascend, focusing on 24 strategic goals across four sustainability pillars, including Environmental Excellence, Operational Excellence, Thriving Economies and Societies, and Thriving People. Through Ascend, we aim to demonstrate our determination in achieving new heights of environmental and operational excellence while contributing to thriving economies, societies and people. We also expanded our commitment to addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the inclusion of an additional SDG – 14 (Life Below Water) since first alignment with the SDGs in 2021/22.

AA continues to report on green bond allocations through the Sustainable Finance Transactions (SFT) Annual Report. Our strategy and ongoing efforts to mitigate climate change and enhance adaptation and resilience are communicated in our fourth Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) Statement.  Both the SFT Annual Report and the TCFD Statement are appended to the Sustainability Report.
