AA recognised for excellence in ESG performance

Airport Authority (AA) received the “Excellence in ESG Corporate Award” for non-listed company at the Ming Pao ESG Award 2024, highlighting companies that are outstanding performers in environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices. 

The accolade is a testament to AAHK’s commitment to implementing sustainability policies in alignment with its pledge to make Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) the World’s Greenest Airport. AAHK was recognised for going beyond compliance by seamlessly integrating sustainability into its business strategies and operations through a range of meaningful ESG initiatives. These include driving the airport community towards its 2050 Net Zero Carbon pledge and the 2035 midpoint target, contributing to society by nurturing talent through the Hong Kong International Aviation Academy, issuing green bonds as part of an overall sustainable finance strategy and more.
