To ensure a smooth and efficient arrival, you can browse all the essential information that you need to know after landing at Hong Kong International Airport.
Make sure you have the following documents ready before reaching the Immigration Hall.
Hong Kong Residents: Hong Kong Identity Card.
Other Visitors: Valid travel document.
After passing through immigration, please proceed to the Baggage Reclaim Hall to collect your baggage. There are several information boards showing which carousel has been assigned to your flight.
After reclaiming your baggage, please proceed to the Customs and Excise control. Those who have goods to declare should use the red channel while others who have nothing to declare should use the green channel.
With effect from 16 July 2018, passengers who are in possession of currency and/or bearer negotiable instruments (CBNIs) with a total value more than HKD120,000 are required to make a written declaration at the red channel.

Large TV panels are available at both Arrivals Hall A and B in Terminal 1 for meeters and greeters to see their arriving friends and relatives.
