This is the result of the efforts of several generations of filmmakers. The government will work closely with various sectors to promote Hong Kong cinema and enhance the city's cultural strength. We will continue developing movie-inspired tourism projects through different Hong Kong films to attract more visitors to Hong Kong while promoting our local film culture."

They showcase our city’s landscape and culture, inspiring people to experience what Hong Kong has to offer in person. Therefore, the HKTB has promoted tourism through movie culture, launching a Hong Kong travel guide inspired by famous local films. Highlighting the city’s distinctive appeal through a selection of films, the travel guide aims to entice visitors from all over the world to come and embark on an adventure following our cinematic treasures.
