"World of Winners" Air Ticket Giveaway Campaign Kicks Off in Seoul

The "World of Winners" air ticket giveaway campaign is launched in Korea today with a two-day promotional event in Seoul. It is expected to attract thousands of local residents to take part in the event.

(HONG KONG, 13 May 2023, 1600hrs)  –  The "World of Winners" air ticket giveaway campaign, sponsored by Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK), was launched in Korea today with a two-day promotional event in Seoul. It is expected to attract thousands of local residents to take part in the event that features performances, photo booths, and on-site games with prizes including 500 free air tickets for travelling to Hong Kong.

The event was officiated by representatives of AAHK, the four Hong Kong-based airlines, Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Hong Kong Tourism Board. The event also includes an exhibition on the robust recovery in traffic at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) and the airport’s readiness to welcome global travellers with a series of exciting offerings and services.

AAHK is delighted to see “World of Winners” land in Seoul following the successful launches in Southeast Asia and Mainland China. The promotional events aim to propagate a message to the world that Hong Kong is fully opened to travel, and AAHK is excited to welcome visitors from around the world once again. The campaign represents a great opportunity for Korean travellers to rediscover everything Hong Kong has to offer.

Earlier, AAHK hosted a media luncheon in Seoul to introduce the campaign to over 30 Korean media organisations, during which future development plans under the Airport City strategy were highlighted.

“World of Winners” is organised to support the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government’s “Hello Hong Kong” promotional campaign. AAHK has sponsored 500,000 tickets for home-based carriers to offer travellers from around the world. Of the 500,000 tickets, 24,000 tickets will be distributed to travellers from Korea in phases through a variety of channels.
