(HONG KONG, 20 May 2022, 1800hrs) – Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) welcomes the appointment of two new members to the Board, as well as the reappointment of two existing members.
The two new members are Philip Chen Nan-lok and Laurence Li Lu-jen S.C., and the two reappointed members are Ir Dr the Honourable Lo Wai-kwok and Stuart Thomson Gulliver. The new and reappointed members will serve a term of three years effective from 1 June 2022.
Under the Airport Authority Ordinance, the Chairman and members of the Board of AAHK are appointed by the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Jack So Chak-kwong, Chairman of AAHK, said, “I am grateful to our retiring members, the Honourable Frankie Yick Chi-ming, Dr Allan Zeman and Thomas Jefferson Wu, for their valuable contributions and guidance to AAHK during their tenure. I also welcome the new members, who are renowned leaders in their respective fields. I am confident that with the strong support of the Board, Hong Kong International Airport will continue to develop as an international aviation hub and make significant contribution to the economy of Hong Kong.”
