Economic Contribution

HKIA is an international and regional aviation hub that connects Hong Kong with the world and makes a significant economic contribution to the city. To further increase our economic contribution, we are committed to maintaining our cargo leadership position and transforming HKIA from a city’s airport into an “Airport City” at the heart of the Pearl River Delta region.
