In 2012, the Airport Authority (AA) pledged to make Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) the World’s Greenest Airport. This pledge serves as a goal and a driver to continuously improve HKIA’s environmental performance. The AA has established a set of corporate-wide policies, which are endorsed by the AA’s Chief Executive Officer, to reiterate its commitment to achieving high standards of environmental performance.
